Consider today’s quote…do you agree or disagree - is adventure just bad planning? Or, is it a vital part of this thing we call “life”?
Journal writing prompt bonus: Using today’s quote as a starting point, think about your life. How do you view your life? Is it safe and well planned? Or, is it adventurous and fly-by-the seat of your pants? Or, is it somewhere in the middle?
For me, while most people wouldn’t see my life as adventurous…I do feel like life, itself is an adventure - planned or not. How do you see life in general? Is it an adventure? Explore the questions and your answers in your journal.

My kids have shown me that adventure comes from the lens you look through. Ever been crawdad fishing with a 4-year-old? Pure adventure.
Every day is an incredible gift of God for me. I can enjoy it or waste it. Everyone and everything that comes into my day is a gift. Though I am a planner by nature, I am also very open to seeing how each unfolds. I try to write at least 5 blessings that I have had each day. Makes a world of difference in appreciating being alive!
