Journal Writing Prompt: Courage

By Dee · Tuesday, October 17th, 2006

“You have to accept whatever comes, and the only important thing is that you meet it with courage and with the best that you have to give.”

~Eleanor Roosevelt

In your journal, write a response to today’s quote. Is meeting whatever comes with courage and your very best the only important thing? If so, expand on that thought. If not, what other things do you think are important when meeting whatever may come your way.

Daily Journal Writing Prompt Bonus: How do you define “courage”? Do you see yourself as courageous? Why or why not? If you could leave a definition of courage for future generations, what would it be? Who has it? Who could have it? Why?

Happy Journaling!
