Journal Writing Prompt: Health
“What some call health, if purchased by perpetual anxiety about diet, isn’t much better than tedious disease.”
~George Dennison Prentice
In your journal, write out your own definition of health. Does your definition agree with Mr. Prentice’s definition? Did you include overall health or just physical health in your definition? If you didn’t include overall health, take time to consider what whole health means to you - including all aspects of you - mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical.
Journal writing prompt bonus: According to your own definition of health, what “grade” would you give yourself in achieving overall health? What are you doing right? What are you doing wrong? If you aren’t achieving your definition of overall health (and it’s a realistic definition), write about what you can do to improve your overall health.
Happy Journaling!
