Journal Writing Prompt: Hesitation

By Dee · Tuesday, January 17th, 2006
“Make up your mind to act decidedly and take the consequences. No good is ever done in this world by hesitation.”

~Thomas H. Huxley

In your journal, write about something that you’ve been wavering on. Is there a reason why you are hesitating before you take action? If so, what is that reason?

Daily journal writing prompt bonus: Think back, was there a time in your past when you acted decidedly, willing to take the consequences of your actions when it turned out positively? Write about that in your journal. Then, consider your earlier entry on a decision you are hesitating on now….does that old experience help you with your current one? Why?
