Journal Writing Prompt: Toughness

In your journal, write about your own toughness. Is it something that has developed over the years? Looking back, do you believe that certain events in your life have contributed to your toughness? Has it overflowed from your mind to you heart, or do you still have a tender heart?
Journal Writing Prompt Bonus: If you were to give advice to future generations about developing a toughness about them, what would you say? Would you agree with Martin Luther King, Jr. or would you say that you need to be tough through and through to “survive”? Why or why not?
