Journal Writing Prompt: What are you waiting for?
“All of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon - instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.”
~Dale Carnegie
If Mr. Carnegie is right, then, the natural question that arises is: what are we really waiting for? We know, somewhere (maybe deep inside, but, somewhere), that the “magical rose garden over the horizon” will never appear - because the one we dream of today, when we achieve it, will turn into a grander and broader rose garden that we do not have - yet.
In your journal, answer this simple question: What am I waiting for? When will I allow myself to start living and enjoying today - this rose garden that I have, the rose that’s right in front of me?
Happy Journaling!
